Shilpa will host Big Boss3

The second season of the most popular reality show Bigg Boss in full swing that would be aired on the channel Colors. The show is being planned to go on air from coming October. Fans of Shilpa Shetty will be rejoiced to know that she has been more or less confirmed for hosting the show yet again.

According to the sources, “The channel has been in talks with Shilpa Shetty for hosting the second season and she seems to have given her nod, however she is still to be signed on the dotted line. One can recall Shilpa Shetty was paid a bomb for hosting the show. But this year with the ongoing recession, she may have to adjust her price.”

The makers of the show are also planning to bring a lot of variations in the show by adding more surprise elements and more interesting guests. The hunt for the 12 house inmates is on.

A strong believer in destiny Shilpa Shetty may be dabbling in many things, but movies are her first love, and that’s the reason Shilpa Shetty decided to produce films.

Because of recession for some period of time the actress had to put her plans on hold, but she’s sure things will be back on track soon. Well, we hear, Katrina Kaif has bought the rights for a French film recently.

Shilpa Spa launched by Rekha

Ever beautiful, veteran actress Rekha launched Shilpa Shetty’s medispa Iosis in Mumbai.

Rekha has been the one and only choice of Shilpa since long time. She feels that Rekha is synonymous with time and ageless beauty.

Shilpa posted on her blog shilpashettylive.com that Rekha ji was the best choice for it as nobody embodies the spirit of beauty, style and charisma like Rekha.

“I’ve always looked up to her as an actor, role model for constant reinvention. We share a very special bond and have always been in touch with each other. I think it`s the South Indian connection. When I asked her to grace the occasion, she agreed and I was ecstatic,” she further added.

Shilpa’s spa is opening in partnership with entrepreneur Kiran Bawa, well-known in beauty and wellness industry. This one will be first of its kind in Mumbai’s Khar area.

The medispa is an amalmagation of four- styling, spa, salon and skin treatments.

Shilpa Shetty will soon fulfil her childhood dream of owning a spa and actress Rekha will launch her medispa Iosis.

Shilpa also said that she had to think of who was going to do the grand launch and couldn’t come up with a better name than the diva herself someone who is synonymous with timeless beauty and wellness. So she approached Rekhaji. Shilpa also added in her statement that she’ve always looked up to her as an actor, role model for constant reinvention.

The 34-year-old will be opening her flagship store in partnership with entrepreneur Kiran Bawa, well-known in beauty and wellness industry. The first of these stores will open in Mumbai’s Khar area.

Explaining about the spa, Shilpa told that being part of an industry where beauty is a pre-requisite. The medispa will be a fusion of four – styling, spa, salon and skin treatments. Every treatment will be under the supervision of trained professionals.

The actress is also shooting for Hollywood film The Desire and Bollywood film The Man.

Shilpa and Reema Sen were issued arrest warrant

Two to three years back, a local court on issued arrest warrants against Bollywood beauties Shilpa Shetty and Reema Sen in connection with the publication of their ‘‘obscene’’ pictures in a Tamil eveninger.

City Judicial Magistrate Elangovan directed the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai, to arrest the actors as early as possible and produce them in court.

Dakshninammorthy, a city based advocate, filed a case against the actors, and Murugan, Editor of Tamil Murasu, for publication of the ‘‘obscene’’ pictures, thus violating laws, including Section 109 of the IPC (Indecent Representation of Women), Prevention of Publication of Obscene Pictures Act and Section 3 of the Young Persons (Harmful Publications)Act.

The episode of ‘Dus Ka Dum’ this week promises loads of fun and masti. The camaraderie between Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty came to the fore on the show. The actress looked stunning in a red dress.

Having worked together in a number of films including ‘Garv’, ‘Phir Milenge’, ‘Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar’, Salman and Shilpa bonded like old buddies. In between their repartee, a diamond on Shilpa’s finger caught Salman’s eye and he instantly asked her if it was her engagement right.

The show will be aired on Saturday, July 18 at 9 pm.

Shilpa, who’s marriage is on cards with her London-based businessman Raj Kundra informed that ring was purchased by her.

To draw Irfan out of his shell, Salman prompted him to share his cricketing experience, and on a lighter note, asked him to sing a song.

Irfan wooed the sexy lady by humming the song ‘O O Jaane Jaana’ and she kept smiling through the pacer Pathan’s rendition.

Shilpa is all set to marry Raj Kundra

Though Shilpa isn’t talking openly about it, she is all set to marry boyfriend Raj Kundra this November or December, depending on the dates astrologers find most auspicious.

Bollywood actress and Big Brother star Shilpa Shetty shed some light on her love life when she told BBC Asian Network breakfast host Adil Ray that she believed in marriage.

Presenter Adil Ray left the Bollywood star speechless as he tried his luck wooing her using ex Big Brother contestant Sree’s infamous words of wisdom.

The unsuspecting Bollywood actress set the marriage rumour mill working as she answered all of Adil’s questions and gave a rare insight into her love life. Shetty explained how she believed in the institution of marriage and how her finance Raj was ‘meant to be in her life’.

Adil continued his jibe using classic Sree lines such as ‘you do come in my dreams…your inner beauty is platinum…you can slap me if I’m saying something wrong…even your laugh makes me sunshine’.

Shilpa, unaware of the wind up, was taken aback replying ‘Are you flirting me with on radio!’

Raj, Shilpa’s would be hubby is very romantic at heart and pens beautiful love messages to her often. This was the secret revelation she made too.

The Shetty, Global Warming and 10 Ka Dum

Shilpa Shetty has always been in the limelight by doing one or the other thing for the welfare of human kind. Be it releasing a Power Yoga Cd in context with fitness or be it making people aware of reasons causing AIDS etc.

This time the news is that she will be joining hands with Freeplay Energy India, a company that produces hand crank lanterns that generate electricity without using fuel. The actress’ foundation will distribute these solar power- generated lamps for free to villages in India.

This is not the first time that a Bollywood celebrity is coming up to make people aware about the global warming. The first major step was taken by the IIFA Foundation to change their Red Carpet into Green Carpet and make the entire Film Fraternity to join hands to fight against Global Warming. During the IIFA Awards last year in Yorkshire, The Bachchan family planted trees and also made a statement “Go Green” and took an oath to plant 6 million trees.

Shilpa believes in conserving energy and also believes that giving in abundance will attract in abundance!!!
